Calderón resumes the green agenda, now through business
The former president meets this Wednesday with businessmen in Mexico City to present his Sustainable Human Development Foundation
After a year after leaving the presidency of Mexico, Felipe Calderón returns to the country with an agenda that he promoted during his mandate: renewable energies and green businesses to which he gave incentives to invest during his administration.
This Wednesday, Calderón will present his Sustainable Human Development Foundation (FDHC) at the Industriales Club, in Mexico City.
“It is time to talk about profits, jobs and growth levels,” Calderón said last January 29, in an interview at the Harvard Kennedy School, where he participates in the Angelopolous program.

Green investment in your government

In addition to his foundation, Calderón chairs the Global Commission on Economy and Climate, a project created by the governments of seven countries in 2013, which will give a report to the UN next September on the profits that green businesses can generate without affecting the environment. .
